Why user data is requested
GotchaInbox requests access only to data required for its core security features. User-submitted email and webpage content is processed to classify content as safe or suspicious, return scan results, and maintain scan history within the user account.
- Email scan data: message content and metadata selected by the user.
- Webpage scan data: domain, HTML snapshot, and screenshot submitted by the user.
- Account/session data: required to authenticate users and secure saved scan history.
